What are Body Fat monitors?

They measure body fat in the upper body where doctors presume the  most effect on organs and on the cardiovascular system. They do not require you   to remove socks and shoes to take measurements. They make it easy to establish whether your body composition is really how it should be.

The OMRON body fat monitors work with the Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) method to measure body fat. The BIA method uses an ultra low electrical current, too weak to feel, which passes through the upper body and reacts on the resistance to electrical conductivity. Body fat has most influence on this and therefore its detection enables to indicate its share / ratio of the body composition.
