This range of medical insoles and heel pads has been designed especially for people who suffer pain related to a medical condition or those who need extra help whilst they convalesce from illness or from undergoing medical procedures

Sorbothane is a unique synthetic material which mimics the characteristics of human flesh. Its molecular structure allows it to recover its shape completely after each ‘shock’ and, used as an insole in footwear, it absorbs 94.7% of the shock waves caused by the heel striking a hard surface. That means it reduces muscle fatigue, helps protect weak joints and eases the strains on ligaments and tendons.

Sorbothane is used across our product range, but in different strengths. For example, the material we use in the medical range is softer than that used for sports and outdoor applications. That stands to reason really:slower movement, slower material recovery rate, softer absorption. It all adds up to maximum rehabilitation.

Sorbothane Medical Insole

All purpose shock absorbing insoles which are suitable for use in all types of footwear.
Help ease the discomfort and pain caused by standing or walking for long periods of time.
Should be placed beneath the shoes’ existing insoles to give maximum protection against impact shock and to help counter foot fatigue.

A mid weight flat insole that works with existing insole to provide cushioning and shock absorption whilst recovering from injury.

The softer gel like Sorbothane material is ideal for treatment of stress fractures, shin splints, bruised heels and painful feet. It is flat in design so works with existing insoles or in close fitting shoes.

Sorbothane is unique, stopping 94.7% of sharp shocks by absorbing the impact and dissipating the energy waves that are created. The recovery rate of the material means that the energy is not simply reflected back into the limb, but amazingly it recovers quick enough for the next step.

Sorbothane Medical Heel Cup

A rim of additional cushioning around this moulded heel pad prevents lateral or transverse movement and torque stress.  Gives the fullest possible support to the heel and optimum impact protection.

The Sorbothane Medical Heel Cup is used where both shock absorbtion and a little lift is required. It is recommended for treatment of heel and achilles tendon problems rather than prevention where the shock stopper heel pads is better suited. The cup shape provides additional cushioning around the heel preventing lateral or sideways movement of the foot

Sorbothane Soft Spot Heel Pad is a versatile heel pad whith a removeable central plug. It can be used as a medical heel pad with the plug in place or if the plug is removed pressure is taken off the middle of the heel - ideal for treatment of Plantar fasciitis or Heel Spurs.

A lightweight insert with a special cavity that provides shock absorbtion and cushioning whilst taking the pressure away from the heel. Ideal for treatment of Plantar fasciitis, Heel spur or bruised heel. The central cavity takes pressure away from the centre of the heel whilst the raised sides assist in correcting over pronation supination.
